Keegan Siebenaler grew up in Kalispell with an intuitive sense of the rising cost of land in the Flathead Valley. It wasn’t until college that he realized the prohibitive cost of housing for low-income residents was not a law of nature, but the result of specific zoning and land-use policies that restrict the wonders of Montana to a lucky few. Furthermore, he realized the possibility for new urban forms to accommodate Montana’s growing population while maintaining wilderness areas.

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Environmental Engineering and Energy Studies, Keegan moved back to the Flathead Valley to work as the Affordable Home Ownership Project Coordinator for the Northwest Montana Community Land Trust. In his free time, Keegan enjoys climbing, backpacking, and skiing in Glacier Park.
